The bright one makes it easier for browsing. But the new one has a prettier layout!!! Ang ganda!!! Though darker layouts conserve monitor energy, it's a bit difficult to browse. Siguro brighter font-color? :)

the darker-layouts-conserve-energy thing only applies daw for non-lcd monitors. but thanks for the input about the font color! i'm also making the navigation links a little bigger

haha, ngayon ko lang alam yon ah about lcd. So okay lang kung laptop ang gamit? :D
